Refunds, Warranty, Exchange & Shipping Terms

Returns / Refund Policy

If you change your mind and wish to return the goods for a refund less any associated delivery charges you are welcome to do so providing:

- All goods must returned within 7 days of receipt
- Goods must be returned in brand new condition with all original packaging intact
- Buyer is responsible for return delivery charges and refunds will be issued within 7 days of receipt (after we have inspected the condition of the goods) providing the above conditions are met.
- We will issue you refund less 10% re-stocking / handling / admin fee and delivery charges.
- Buyer will need to arrange own transport at own cost and we highly recommend using a courier that provides insurance cover for loss or damage as Carma Living PTY LTD will not provide refunds for good returned in a damaged state.
- We are happy to exchange goods within 7 days of purchase. A 10% admin / re-stocking fee applies to the original order.

Warranty Policy

One Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty

The licensed manufacturer/s of a Carma Living branded products, warrants our products to be free of structural and/or workmanship defects for a period of one year after the date of original purchase. Proof of the original purchase is required to obtain a remedy under this limited warranty. A full refund for faulty or damaged goods will be issued as per Australian consumer law

What Is NOT Covered Under This Limited Warranty

- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage.

- Damage sustained in transit where goods have been signed for as being received in good order or where authority to leave the goods is given (with or without buyers consent) for failure to be available at time of delivery to inspect that the order is received in good condition. - Damage due to accidents, misuse, physical force, improper installation or operation, mishandling, neglect, fire, heat, water, humidity, liquids, insect infestation, or other intrusion.
- Products that have been repaired, altered or modified
- Products used for non-private use
- Material or fabric components of any product as they are susceptible to damage and wear and tear when note cared for according to the care instructions
- Damage caused by acts of nature such as, but not limited to, exposure to UV rays and other elements.
- Products returned without valid proof of purchase.
- Bamboo products are naturally subject to developing some cracks over time depending on temperature and humidity. Cracks do not affect the integrity or beauty of the canes. We will do our best to supply you with the most attractive poles available but we cannot guarantee against natural cracking that may occur during or post shipping.
- Outdoor wood products exposed to UV are naturally subject to developing some cracks over time depending on temperature and humidity therefore are not covered under manufacturer warranty. We recommend all outdoor timber products are covered when not in use.

Shipping Terms and Conditions:

Goods are dispatched within 2 business days and can take 1-10 business days to arrive based on customers location. Tracking details will be provided once your order is dispatched and you will be able to obtain an ETA via the transport companies website. One delivery attempt is included in the delivery fee. Deliveries are performed during business hours only therefore a business address is preferred. Orders of 5 or more bamboo panels will be palletized (over 15 panels for Melbourne metro areas) and someone must be available to accept delivery, to inspect the goods to ensure they have been delivered in good order and assist the driver to unload the panels. Failure to be available at the delivery address if required will result in goods being returned to Carma Living or the nearest courier depot (if applicable) and will result in any additional delivery charges being paid prior to a subsequent delivery being arranged. Failure to arrange and pay for the subsequent delivery charges will result in the transaction being canceled and a refund less return delivery charges and the applicable re-stocking fee being reduced from the refund owing.
All goods must be inspected for insurance cover to apply and any damage must be noted beside the signature and reported to Carma Living within 24 hours with photos to support any claims. For orders under 5 panels, at checkout please advise where goods can be safely left if no one is available to accept delivery. The location must be convenient, within close proximity to the front of the property and be free of obstacles such as stairs / gates. Authority to leave goods voids any insurance cover for loss or damage so we recommend buyers check the online tracking details to track their order and be available on day of delivery to inspect and accept the goods.
